If you're anything like me, you are very disappointed with me.
Why?
Because, even though I am an unabashed success in so many areas of my
life, I have failed to correspond with most of you this year, even when
you send me email.
Well, I am a busy man. Counting and recounting these ballots is not
easy work, especially when you're also trying to rebuild East Germany AND
bring suspenders back into style.
But for the next few days or weeks, I plan to take time out of my arduous
schedule to share yet another serialized adventure with you.
Last year, as some of you might remember, I visited the state of New
Jersey for the first time in my life, to chaperone a youth event with a
friend of mine from college. After I returned, I shared the exciting
story of my journey in an exciting 20-part series, full of exciting action
and excitement. I just now re-read it, and it was dang good.
It was also exciting. I will not send it again, but when I get a
website, I'll put it up right away.
Anyway, as I have just now returned from the same exact outing this year,
I intend to do the same, although I doubt 20 parts will be in order.
Probably just 10. But I promise it will be just as exciting as the
last one, except not as much. But almost.
The first section of "Journey to Jersey II --- The Return of
Wafflehead" will follow this email. And let me know if anyone
needs to be added to this mailing list.
