UMSFL Anime Synopsis
Part 2: Moonstrike
The battle between Demon Mefilas and Ultraman has raged on. Eventually a contest of beams leaves the stadium without any court whatsoever! (If you look very closely, you can see Spell Seijin in the running crowd.)
Banjou: Ah! Amazing! The collision of strength and strength!...
Just as the two are grappling fist to fist, Tsuifon surges down to Earth and there is
a mighty explosion. He transforms to his monster form and attacks. The monsters
readily prepare to fight this intruder interrupting the action, and Ultraman
yells his warning a tad too late. The purple energy wave knocks them all flat,
and almost does the same to Banjou and Notani.
In the nick of time, however, UltraSeven
shields them with his body (and gets severely pummelled). The whole stadium
blows apart and is now as good as rubble!!!
Ultraman quits gripping his hurting arm and looks at his
burnt arm bandage with considerable shock. "Vacuum Wave!" he
exclaims, referring to Tsuifon's purple energy. [How he knows, I have no
idea.] Mefilas curses, as the blow was meant to knock out everyone but the
strongest opponents to the comet god.
Tsuifon attacks, UM dodges and Mefilas punches him to no avail. Tsuifon's hard,
armour-like skin lets nothing through, and all he gets in return is a nasty
glare. Ultraman takes off, making Tsuifon follow him...

WHAT?! |

It's too dangerous to battle here on Earth! I'll leave the rest here to you! *warps into space* |

...Don't you dare do things your way! |
Seven checks to see if the two announcers are all right, and
Mefilas takes off towards the moon after some thought.
Tsuifon and Ultraman end up on the moon, and the former
fires his vacuum wave at Ultraman. Ultraman steels himself against it and
concentrates, creating a gold barrier of light around himself and expanding it.
The energy is so great the rock under his feet cracks and breaks! Ultraman and
Tsuifon now surge forward, each striking at the other. The dark entity dodges
Ultraman's Specium Beam and fires another vacuum wave. Thanks to the Ultra Crown,
Ultraman has speed enough to dodge all the vacuum waves and punches Tsuifon
with super speed. Despite this, Tsuifon kicks at Ultraman and elbows him in the
back--HARD!
Mefilas is now on the moon, and an explosion alerts him to
Ultraman's location. Ultraman fires his Specium Beam several times, hoping to
hit Tsuifon, but none of the shots do--they end up blasting the moon instead!
All of a sudden he is ambushed from behind and dealt some severe blows.
Ultraman finally dodges and fires the Specium Ultra Light Wave at Tsuifon! It
meets with the purple vacuum wave, and after a bit of contest there is a HUGE
explosion. Ultraman is thrown backwards and Tsuifon lunges at him, but now
Mefilas can pinpoint the location of the alien fighter and fires his red hand
beam at Tsuifon! He scores a direct hit just before Tsuifon can tear Ultraman
apart, and our hero regains some ground. The Ultran gut-punches Tsuifon and
fires another Light Wave at him, several times bigger than himself. It seems to
have ended--and almost half the moon has been turned to dust in the ferocious
battle!

Still, you picked him out very quickly. |

I know your fighting spirit very well. That thing’s fighting spirit created such an amazing tremor. It's clear he's not an ordinary oppponent. |
| Ultraman | : | Ah. |
| Mefilas | : | More importantly--you were still saving your power during that fight, weren't you? |

Er... |

Mefilas |
: |
No use trying to fool me! How dare you look down on me...! |

Voice |
: |
O~i! Are you OK? Has that guy been defeated? |
Seven, Zetton
and the Science Patrol (the voice)
have arrived to check on things when rocks suddenly surge up and batter the
S.P. VTOL! Tsuifon is still alive, and transforms into a large, humanoid form.
VERY large. He has a mouth now and two extra horns. Another purple vacuum wave,
and then a powerful purple beam surges towards Ultraman. He tries to hold it
back, but it slams him into a cliff wall. Tsuifon advances and begins punching
Ultraman faster and faster, until he is actually sent THROUGH the cliff face.
Down he falls, into a huge crater, and Tsuifon charges. Seven fires his
Emellium Beam into the creature's back, and Zetton fires some choice Meteor
Fireballs. The Jet VTOL transforms into the robot VTOL
G and gives Tsuifon a taste of bullets, and Mefilas tries his hand
beam--yet all four attacks don't faze Tsuifon at ALL! Tsuifon slams into Ultraman,and
there is a huge explosion that decimates more of the moon!
When the dust clears, Seven is wounded in the shoulder and
Tsuifon has UM by the head. He squeezes, making Ultraman cry out; the cracks in
his armour hide glow red and he smashes the Ultra Crown into gold dust!
Ultraman yells again and he loses conciousness. Tsuifon nonchalantly tosses him
aside, and an enraged Mefilas fires another beam at the humanoid. It is
countered with an equally powerful blast, ripping Mefilas' cape into shreds,
and the comet being fires a red beam at Ultraman, sending him spinning down to
Earth. Seven calls out his name in shock. Mefilas mutters "Idiot" and
passes out. The unconscious Ultran has a splashdown in the ocean (he causes
quite a big splash, as you might expect of a 40 metre, 35 kiloton being). His
eyes are dark, his Colour Timer is not shining at all and only the chin guards
of the Ultra Crown are still on his face. Tsuifon turns back into a sphere and
heads for Earth. As you might expect, Seven is very, very not pleased.
On a space station some distance away, Taro wakes up in a healing chamber of some sort. He sits up, wondering where he is, but his head is still spinning from the ordeal. Yullian tells him not to get up yet, and he looks around to see all the others still unconscious and in similar healing chambers. He winces...
Under the surface of Earth's oceans, an armoured Ultraman 80 and the Science Patrol in VTOL G are looking for Ultraman.

*swims over to the busted up Ultran* Ultraman, are you all right?...hang in there! (Uhhh, 80, does he LOOK all right to you?) |
It is somewhere in North America (presumably, because of the reindeer). We close in on a large hole in the ground, and the Ultra Garrison's Captain Kiriyama listening to a boy called Kochan, who is babbling about something big falling to Earth.
Kochan: It, it, was so bright and then it fell down BOOM!
It is Tsuifon in his sphere
form, which sinks into the core of the Earth, puts out spikes and discharges
electricity(?) into it! All of a sudden the earth quakes, the reindeer squeal
and a nearby mountain erupts like a volcano! Kiriyama grabs the boy and runs,
making one wonder why he doesn't jump into the Ultra Garrison car (the Pointer)
and make a quicker getaway. All over the world, volcanos erupt and waterspouts, tsunamis and earthquakes occur.
It's a MESS. The monsters (specifically, Crazygon, Gabora and Seamons) help the humans get
to safer places . The sphere booms out its call as the world darkens...
"TSUUUUIIIIFOOOOOOONNNNNN..."
