What you do is...

1. Obtain a piece of notebook paper.
2. Write two lines' worth of text. It doesn't matter if the second line ends in the middle of a sentence, or even in the middle of a hyphenated word. Just write anything until you get two lines.
3. Fold the paper so that one can only see the second line.
4. Hand to friend (or whomever) to write two more lines.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 until page is filled
