No Euro

Welcome to my pet hate, the loathsome 'Euro'. I despise the concept of it, even the name itself and I hold it and it's associated federalist 'europhiles' in complete and utter contempt. This for me, is not just a passion, it's all out war.

Years ago the U.K. agreed to join the common market. Not everyone agreed though, but we were forced to buy second class meat out of Europe to replace the wonderful food we used to buy from the commonwealth, from Australia and New Zealand. We weren't allowed to deal with them and had to suffer second rate crud from France. Things gradually got worse when the French wanted to ban our English sausage and allow only frankfurters to be sold! They've

even tried to stop us from using the name 'sausage' by taking the U.K. to court in Brussels. Damn frogs! Then our bananas were the wrong shape, we were told they weren't straight enough. So other members of the commonwealth had to go and then guess what, more bananas had to be brought in from French colonies because they were straighter. I can only guess what use they find for those...

We were forced into the European Union by politicians without ever being asked if we wanted to join. The Maastricht treaty was signed without the approval of the U.K. public, as was the treaty of Rome and every European treaty before or since. Politicians seem scared to let us decide because they know we'll get out while we're able to. Which brings us to the Euro. By adopting this currency it means all the U.K.'s financial affairs, tax, national insurance, VAT, will all HAVE to be controlled by Brussels. It cannot be separate to the rest of Europe. The French said 'Of course it would be separate' but it's since been proved that they lied. Now they are insisting that everyone must join in order to make a federalist 'United States of Europe'. To be run no doubt, by the French, the most federal minded people in Europe. Just look at their 'bloody' revolution and their hatred of all monarchy.

Well I for one, do not want a federalist U.K. state in a federal 'United States of Europe'. I'm proud of our country and I'll be damned if I'll ever let foreigners take it over, whether it be by the back door by creeping federalism or whether I have to fight to defend it. We've fought and won in the name of right in the past and by God, we can do it again.

Don't let the europhiles push you into giving away our sovereignty as they are surely and without doubt trying to do. Remember too, they've already given ALL our gold reserves to the Federal Bank in Frankfurt. It's all gone now, never to be returned.... Do you want your country to go the same way? I, for one, don't!
