THE DIAMOND
presented by Modesty Blaze
Diamond comes from Greek word adamas,
which means the eternity of love, unconquerable.
Diamonds were first discovered in India
in ancient times...were believed to have come from
the stars.
We think of diamonds as clear and colorless,
but they are sometimes colored in all different kinds
of colors. Colored diamonds are very valuable.
Diamonds are the hardest of all gemstones, and
can endure a lot of wear and tear...
Wear everyday and enjoy!
Clean with a soft toothbrush and soapy water,
rinse well. Home ultrasonic machines are often used
for cleaning diamonds - professional jewelery soaks.
Diamonds are found in Africa.
Diamonds are found in many countries...
the diamond trade is a dangerous one!
Because diamonds are so valuable,
they are often sought and stolen.
So, don't be careless!
Many famous people wear fake diamonds
so their real ones won't be stolen,
and businesses such as QVC HomeShopping
have made thousands selling synthetic diamonds,
which are often quite lovely.
