We only saw a few animals, despite the locals telling us that Venice was overrun with cats. Well, they called them tigers. We were hoping to figure out what they meant by that, but the rain kept most everyone inside.

Most of the dogs we saw looked a lot like this one -- smallish, curious, but strangely aloof. Very few of them would come talk to us, no matter how we tried to entice them.	This cat patiently posed for Brett...	...until it stopped being fun, at which point he followed the arrow home.	A cat playing in front of the opera house.
