- Caranthir - (elf) A son of Fëanor, he swore the rash oath along with his father and brothers,
which proved to constantly hurt the Noldor. His kingdom was in the Thargelioin, and he dwelt near Lake Helevorn.
Caranthir died in the attack upon Doriath, when he and his brothers hoped to regain one of the Silmarils.
- Carcharoth - (wolf)
- Celeborn - (elf) He is an elf of the household of Thingol, king of
Doriath. He is married to Galadriel. He was a part of the White Council.
- Celebrian - (elf) She is the wife of Elrond and the mother of Arwen,
Elladan, and Elrohir. After she was attacked by orcs she left the Middle-earth and journeyed to
Valinor.
- Celebrimbor - (elf) He is a descendant of Fëanor. He is the
creator of the three elven rings and the green stone.
- Celegorm - (elf) A son of Fëanor, he swore the rash oath along with his father and brothers,
which proved to constantly hurt the Noldor. His kingdom was in the Pass of Aglon, and he dwelt there with his brother
Curufin. After Dagor Bragollach (the battle of Sudden Flame), he fled, with Curufin, to Nargothrond and there dwelt for a
time. Stumbling upon Lúthien, they took her captive, but Huan Celegorm's hound helped her escape. The two brothers gained
the favor of the elves of Nargothrond, who turned against Finrod and Orodreth, but after the death of Finrod Felagund they
were sent from the city. After Lúthien and Beren escaped from the pits of Sauron, their path crossed with Celegorm and
Curufin as they were leaving Nargothrond. They unjustly attacked Beren and Lúthien but were chased off by Huan the hound,
who abandoned Celegorm for his evil. Celegorm was killed by Dior in the attack upon Doriath, when he and his brothers
hoped to regain one of the Silmarils.
- Círdan - (elf) He is also called the shipwright. He once pocessed
Narya, the ring with a stone as red as fire. He marched with Elendil and Elrond in the Last
Alliance. He tried to convinvce Isildur to destroy Sauron's ring. When the Istari came from
the West, Círdan gave the ring to Gandalf because he foresaw that Gandalf would have need of the
ring to encourage himself and others.
- Curufin - (elf) A son of Fëanor, he swore the rash oath along with his father and brothers, which
proved to constantly hurt the Noldor. His kingdom was in the Pass of Aglon, and he dwelt there with his brother Curufin.
