Greetings Y!Geocities CLs,
We are writing to you today out of
Respect & Honor for the positions you
hold in your respective neighborhoods.
As you are aware Y!Geocities produces a
"World Report" on some sort of
irregular basis...In that report they share some of the neighborhood
news....but
not all of it, leaving most of all the wonderful things going on
in
the HOODS unavailable to the Homesteaders...
Since the Community Leader Program, as we
knew it, is no longer supported by
Y!Geocities we are loosing much of our visibility..to the people we are
dedicated to helping..HOMESTEADERS. Also the feeling of "Family"
between different Neighborhoods
& their respective Cl's is gone in much more than our own areas.
With all of this in mind..AND with my
long standing dream of "Family" among Cl's in different
neighborhoods....A Paris CL and myself have been developing a
"Comprehensive" web site.. Where every neighborhood can
list all that is going on where they are...and be part again of the
"Family" feelings again.
WE are listed with all the major browsers
as well as most of the smaller ones... WE have tons of features that can
get Cl's as well as homesteaders involved again. WE have NOT done
it to over shadow the already existing "ZINES" in the various
hoods. They are a VERY important part of
this DREAM.
WE would like to list them so everyone
can see the work that continues to go on....even without the Y!Geo
support....To date we are in what I like to call Y!Geoland...In other
words we have no affiliation to one Hood....
The GeoGazette staff have talked
about spending 2 weeks at a time in EACH hood...having the CL's in that
hood give us all the information they want listed
and
the GG "Featuring" some of the sites they suggest to us...
WE also have set up an awards program for
these featured sites. We have WWW status.......with the hope
of helping our homesteaders in a much broader base.
Lastly we have a "Staff" page
where anyone can "HOP ON BOARD" and make this a truly
"FAMILY" project......thus bringing "FUN" back into
being a CL........
We know you are busy people...Please give
our "Family" project a glance and see what you think. We will
grow with time and hope that you will get involved even if
only to list your "happenings" or featured sites...
