Green Potato Bug - Cuspicona simplex

Body length 12mm
 
This big is green in colour with spined shoulder. It is closely resemble the Spined Citrus Bug but a bit smaller.

This bug also feeds on tomatoes and potatoes but unlike the Green Vegetable Bug, it is not considered as serious pest.

As most other bugs, this bug is plants sucker. It sucks plant juice from stems, leaves and fruits.

Usually a number of them can be found feeding on the same plants. 
 
  
Green bug nymph body length 8mm
 
The above green bug nymph was found near the Green Potato Bug adults but on the different plants. We are not sure if the nymph is a young Green Potato Bug.
