There are quite a number of different genera stink bugs found in Brisbane Eucalyptus forest.  Some of them are shield-shaped and look similar. They include the genera Poecilometis, Anchines, Alcaeus, Dippilana  and Theseus

Genera Dippilana look similar to Poecilometis, but can be distinguished by the presence of four (appearing as five) antennal segments.

There is only one Australian species in Genera Dippilana.
