They might have been rebellious without a cause, but they have certainly risen to stardom WITH a good cause!

Rebel Without A Cause is a movie portraying the violent rebellion of American youth in the 1950's. Along with The Wild One (1953), Blackboard Jungle (1955), and the rock 'n roll music, the movie had given a new sight of adolescence and the society in the post-war era. The movie itself was an instant classic. The sensational and emotional performance of James Dean (star of East of Eden, 1955) and others won the hearts of millions. The three leading actors, who were friends on-and-off-screen, became legendary, especially when Dean was killed and immortalized after a car crash a month before the film was released. So who are these people? What were they like in the movie and in real life? Find it out by clicking the name list on the left.
