The continuing saga of Wazz's travels….

The early part on June has seen me travel only short distance's from my newly adopted home of Kingman Arizona.

A trip down to Cottonwood via a nice little place called Jerome, to visit with all my newly found brothers. We stayed in a campground called Dead Horse Ranch and all up 22 people went on the Saturday arvo run, up into and out of the hills in mid - Arizona.

My new Harley was also taken to the shop and after much guess work and non - trained mechanic diagnosis, a trained HD mechanic was asked to look and see what the noise was…Hmmm looks like you have broken a ring in the rear jug and took the top of that piston, but wait there's more he replied, the piston chunk has traveled to the front jug and stuck in the inlet manifold and caused more damage there.

So we made some calls and the good people at Grand Junction Harley have come good with a HD remanufactured motor at a cost I cannot disclose and a great price on the labor to remove and refit said motor. Thanx GJ HD for helping me out on a bike I bought from you, as is, no warranty and traveled only 331 miles on. You have almost restored my faith in HD dealers.

Willy arrived in LA and Ripley and myself went to pick him up, "hey lady where will the QANTAS flight from Brissie arrive" "ummmmm it arrives at this gate in 2 mins sir" so after an hour I asked an Aussie what flight he came in on and he said the Brissie flight that arrive over 1 hour ago at the other gate down there !!!

"Run run run panic shit bugga hope Willys ok " and he was, just sitting out side the now empty terminal looking lost and waiting for his mate, sorry bout that Willy.

I have been back to Vegas yet again, with Willy in tow and riding his new 1990 FLHS and with no $$ to spare just wondered around with friends and took in the sites (thanx for pointing out those yummy sites Jamie). We had dinner at the OUTBACK restaurant (authentic Aussie tucka my ass) bloody good nite in all.

Last weekend I traveled again to Grand junction CO to visit with my brothers and to hear Ripley speak at the meeting on Saturday nite, great trip good music to dance to and a great road trip home 1000 miles 72 hours and non stop rocks, canyons, roads and site seeing, it's a good thing nobody I know has ever died from lack of sleep, I guess I will catch up on that when I return to Aus and work for a rest.

Spock arrives in the USA late this month and then the real fun begins 3 Aussies in the USA yahoooooo, lookout you crazy yanks the Aussie boys are here to play !!!
