This is one of my most beautiful boats.
It's not only a show-piece, but a great boat to sail as well. Speed is fairly
realistic at about 45 km/h; the original reaches up to 125 km/h, so that's
fun.
Above you see one of the jet drives that powers the Moonraker, in total the boat
contains 3 of these jets.
I bought the boat second hand at 2
Brothers RC in Bussum (Netherlands), and it just needs some more building.
Only the hull and basic superstructure were finished with the motors and
electronics fitted, so it basically was ready to sail. In the mean while. i took
it out for some trials.
Since it lacks detailing and painting, at the moment i don't have any pictures
of it yet, so the pictures shown are of a similar boat of somebody else.
(Because it was bought second hand, i'm running into several kinds of problems
encountered by the first owner. Therefore it may take a while before it really
is finished)
I'm know rebuilding it, and wanna replace the jets for 2 surface drive props,
and run it on 2 3500m6 Ultra motors.
To make of this boat the fastest RC Moonraker their is in the world.
Whan if got some pictures of the building progress, i will show tham to you as
soon as posible.
