This was the first boat of my dads.
The first time we took it for a spin, were astonished by the fast turns it
made.
A disadvantage was that the top speed dropped, when the boat turns. That's why
my dad bought the Graupner B-24.
It's better in speed, and the speed doesn't drop back when the boat turns.
Also several changes (the standard motors were replaced by one
700BB turbo neodym, the prop was placed in front of the rudder, and the motor
was linked directly to the axle through a flexible coupling) didn't improve the
behaviour.
There was just no way to make this boat go faster.
To improve boyancy we even fiiled the hull up with polyuretane foam.
Well, after this things really went wrong. Instead of improving boyancy, it
turned into a submarine.
The foam caused the whole hull to split apart. Unfortunately, this spelled the
end of the boat.
