Cherating
At one point Bonnie and I were considering a move from Japan, and I went to Singapore for a few interviews. Between interviews, I headed to Malaysia -- and the place I went to most often was Cherating, a quiet seaside town with an Internet cafe and inexpensive huts and food. I actually stayed here a bit longer than intended on my last trip because some monkeys stole my shoes.
