Magic Items from the Delirious Bughouse Variant
Generic Rules
The magic items usually duplicate extra powers from the
Chess-like table or from the
Funny Pieces set
Those items, however, are carried by the piece. So,
the following iteresting events may happen:
- If the piece that carries the magic item is captured, the
item passes to the capturing piece
- There is a special funny piece,
the Thief, whole sole purpose is stealing magic items and
giving them to his King
- Magic Items aren't immune to radiation, but they have some
resistence. If an atomic bomb
explodes over a magic item (either if it destroys the piece
that carries it, or if it affects the king), the magic item must
roll a saving throw (ok, ok, magic items were borrowed
from Role Playing Games!), with 50% chance of being destroyed,
and 50% chance of surviving.
- All other events that disintegrate pieces also disintegrate
magic items: the collapse of lines/columns, the repulsion of the nasty
kid, and so on
