SPEECH by Mrs. Esther Weinstein 

Votre Eminence, honorable invites, chers amis.

C'est avec un grand bonheur que je reçois cette magnifique decoration accordee par Sa Saintete Jean Paul II pour mes 33 ans de travail benevole pour Caritas, une des institutions les plus respectees.

En Juin 1947, je suis devenue membre de Caritas et en Juin 2000 je reçois la decoration des mains de Son Excellence le Nonce Paolo Giglio ici à la Nonciature ce dont je le remercie de tout cœur.

Mes sinceres remerciements au Reverend Frere Paul Sarkis, à Mr. le Directeur Elie Dabbous et à Mme Huguette Boulad qui ont soutenu ma canditature.

Merci à Son Excellence l'Ambassadeur Zvi Mazel et sa chere femme Michele qui ont bien voulu partager ma joie.

Je remercie de tout cœur mes tres bons amis qui sont ici avec moi pour assister à ma decoration.

Je dedie une pensee à tous ceux qui ne sont plus et qui auraient aime partager ma joie aujourd'hui. Aussi je demande à Dieu de me permettre de continuer à oeuvrer pour Caritas. Moi je vieillis et Caritas grandit de plus en plus.

Je suis tres heureuse de recevoir cette decoration sous l'egide de notre bien aime President Mohamed Hosni Moubarak.
