More than 30 trails covering 100+ miles of great singletrack and fireroad!

5/2001 Trail Work, Racing
The Tuffriders have been busy - check out their FANTASTIC work on Cabra and the Pajarito Canyon trail, and take a look at their website for details on future trail work.

Also, racing is back in Los Alamos! The Guaje Grind will be June 2nd and 3rd at the Pajarito ski area. Check the NMORS website for more details! Many local riders have worked hard to make this race a reality, so please support the NM racing scene and come - if you're not into racing, you can show up and heckle that guy or gal who dropped you on the last group ride, or congregate on the downhill to watch oxygen-deprived racers crash!

I guess you could just cheer people on, too.

10/3/2000 More trails open!
Everything except Los Alamos Canyon is pretty much open. Get out there and ride! Or, carry your bike through the remnants of the washed-out trails.

8/28/2000 Trails Reopen!

7/12/2000 2 New Trails
Good news at last. There are 2 new trails to ride in Los Alamos. The first is the new Pajarito Punishment course at the Pajarito Ski area. See Kent's Page to view a map of the trail, which appears to be about half fire road and half singletrack. I'll be riding the trail tomorrow and posting a report.

The second new trail is much shorter (around 3/4 of a mile) and as yet very loose and soft (if enough people ride it, this will no longer be the case...) It runs between W. Jemez road and the southern section of the LANL Watertower loop. This is a downhill specific trail, please don't ride up it.

White Rock area trails

LANL area trails

Townsite trails

Mountain and Mesa trails (north and west of town.)

Rides in the Jemez (west of Los Alamos)

What do the ratings mean?
