MY WORLD

Don't pity me
it's not what I need
it's not what I want
All I need is your compassion
and your understanding
Open your mind
your eyes, your heart
to a different world
A world far different
from what you have known
what you are used to
A world full of disillusionment
Broken promises and wings
of spirits dying
of love turning to hate
Not a pretty sight
a sad picture to see
I don't want it to be like that
It's not supposed to be like that
It's not a dying world
Hope is living
Love can still be given
If you just understand
If you just care just a little bit
'cause life never ends...it goes on
my world won't crumble....it moves on
