1. According to CF(Christine Feehan), Lucian and Gabriel, The Dark Twins, AT THIS point in time in the books - are the OLDEST, most powerful and most knowledgeable. In fact, according to CF, Lucian is a "genius". Even Gabriel admits that his twin is "without equal" in power and knowledge. If Lucian or ANY other established BOOK character is in chat - you will treat them with respect and deference.

2. Any ancient that is established in the books (i.e. Julian, Gregori, Mikhail,.. etc) can discipline a "character" that steps over the line and breaks the rules. This also includes, Rutger, our Master Vampire, who will be in charge of overseeing the Vampires. You will behave accordingly to your character or you will be evicted. If you anger an ancient, you do so at your own risk. Since it has been noted that these men are the ancients, they DO have the power to straighten your character out. If you continue to misbehave in any way, the moderators will handle you.

What this specifically means is that YOU must keep in mind people's characters when you are role playing. You are not role playing with the creator/player of the character, but with the character themselves. Do not get upset with the person because their character did something you did not like. ANY off list emails or chat that are harassing or slanderous to another member or moderator will result in immediate banning and reporting to your ISP provider.

3. YES an “established” ancient can tell your CHARACTER to behave yourself in chat however they cannot moderate you, the creator. Only the moderators can put you, the creator, on moderation. They can send you a warning letter or ban you from the group and the chat room. However, if the moderators receive a chat transcript which indicates that you were disrespectful without just cause, you will be given ONE written warning. That is it. You are adults so please act like it.

However, individuals who play established characters (who are not moderators themselves) can be moderated as well. If it is found that they are abusing this privilege, then they will lose the ability to play that established character. Just because you are playing an established character, does not give you the right to purposely tell other members what to do with their characters.

4. NO ONE - may interfere with an established story line except a MODERATOR. If you wish to enter a already established storyline then contact all the members involved FIRST and gain their permission. In OOC, OCC, & RPG the Moderators hold the axe. If a moderator tells you something, it is best that you pay attention. Do NOT make it an argument in chat - go to PM and discuss politely. If you get rude and insulting with your moderators, expect a repercussion. This means that only a moderator can alert you to key issues in your story line and character.

An "ancient/established" character may tell you to "Behave yourself" in their own role, but only a moderator can tell you that your character violates the AGX universe. Do not come complaining to me or anyone else about another moderator’s decision. We are all in this position due to trust and we will not gainsay another moderator's judgment on an issue UNLESS we have solid reason to. If you get a verbal (real time chat) or written or PM warning, then we've discussed it amongst ourselves already.

5. Do NOT bring a human character in with "superhuman" or GODLIKE psychic powers. There is NO precedent for this in the books and it will not be tolerated. Carpathians and Vampires can do many things that are superior to humans. A 2000 year old Carpathian or Vampire can and WILL wipe the floor with you - I do not care if you show up in a cape and your superhero mask carrying a grenade launcher, flamethrower and kryptonite.

6. If you are a young character then you are YOUNG character. No matter what you may think, you do NOT have the knowledge nor the experience to run your mouth to an ancient. Human or Carpathian - age equals experience. According to CF, Carpathians mature SLOWER than humans so they will be even less mature than a human of the same age. CARPATHIANS DO NOT COME INTO THEIR FULL POWER UNTIL THEY ARE AT LEAST 200 YEARS OLD. There ARE NO "gifted children" Carpathians except DARIUS DARATRAZANOFF.

7. If you are running an ancient - male, female, Carpathian or Vamp, then play the part right. There is wisdom and decorum that comes with age and it will be portrayed. The ONLY exception to this is when all of the ancients gather to entertain you with our brilliant hilarity and insults. ALSO if you are thinking of running an ancient that is older than Gabriel or Lucian, then let it be known that it is probably not going to be approved.

Any ancient that may be older than the twins hasn’t been made precedent in the AGX’s books, therefore in most cases, you will not be able to create such an character. However if you want to create an ancient older than Prince Mikhail then you will need to get the storyline/character approved before hand or you will NOT be able to run the character.

8. To All members with female characters. CF has a world of strong, capable women. There is not a wimp in the bunch but ALL of them were claimed or converted by at least the 2nd or 3rd rising. If you annoy your life-mate, expect to be taken to task. If you act out, you will be disciplined. NO FEMALE CHARACTER IS EVER GOING TO WIN AGAINST AN OPPOSING MALE CHARACTER. EVER. DO NOT ASK. That is the way this world is set up in accordance with the DARK BOOKS.

9. Any members with life-mated female characters cannot physically fight vampires unless that character has combat experience, (i.e. military, martial arts,..etc) and they MUST be in the presence of their life-mate. However this does not give you the right to go out and hunt vampires with your life-mate either. Unless you, your life-mate or both are on the defensive, meaning if you are being attacked by vampires, that will be the only way you will get away with fighting vampires. This rule also includes those who have just recently met their life-mate but by some unknown reason the life-mate hasn’t claimed her yet.

10. Carpathian Males are predatory and animalistic by nature, therefore they are VERY dangerous. DO NOT try to "humanize" a Carpathian male. Do not try to make them into what they are not. The Carpathian male’s persona is not going to be changed unless the AGX (Author Goddess Extraordinaire aka Christine Feehan) radically changes the way she is writing these males.

11. In regards to Combat in the CR, you are required to look at, and follow, the Combat Rules placed here on the website or in the files section after you join. PLEASE follow them accordingly. Keep in mind that you CANNOT kill another character without the permission of the character's owner, but you can do plenty of damage as well as receive it. Not following the Combat Rules will void out any injuries inflicted or received.
