JOBS / CAREERS

Everyone needs a job, and students are no exception. From flipping burgers at the local fast food outlet to developing web pages for major corporations, students have been able to find work and earn money in the process.

But how do you get a job? The RADS will show you how to find and apply for jobs that will not only make you cash, but will also get you more experienced for your future days in the workforce. The tips and tricks you'll find in the following sections will hopefully make your transition into the real world as easy as possible.

As a student, you must consider the effects of having a part-time job on your school grades. Although some extra cash may be rewarding in the short-term, your grades will determine if you can pursue your true career goals via post-secondary education. Also, as your marks drop so do your chances of winning scholarships. Time management is the key to success at school and at work.
