Biberach an der Riss

(28000 inhabitants) in the southern part of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg in the heart of Upper Swabia, is a central starting point for the popular holiday resorts in the Swabian Alb, the Aligju, the Alps and Lake Constance. Biberach lies within easy reach of the Upper Swabian Barockstrasse and the Federsee, an area rich in relics of prehistoric life.

But the leisure value of the town itself is not to be ignored: marked hiking paths and a variety of sports facilities are available, not to mention the pleasure of taking a stroll through the newly built pedestrian zone in the centre of town. The old part of the town has been well maintained or expertly restored and has a typically Swabian relaxed atmosphere. The many pubs, restaurants and cafes offer a warm welcome to inhabitants and visitors alike.
