"We have been involved with the Twinning Association for about 7 years. We have friends made through twinning activities with whom we exchange visits in Toulaud, Valence: and a family in Swidnica, Poland.

We have only made one visit to Biberach so far. We are both retired. We have four children and six grandchildren.

Our interests are: Classic motorcycles, MG classic cars, walking, gardening, singing, reading and writing, painting - and many other activities in which we get involved."

Alex enjoys eating, drinking, and smoking, but not necessarily in that order. Other functions of the Association include arranging visits to our twinned towns for sporting activities, such as - football, hockey, cycling, boules, swimming, shooting, hiking, golf and they welcome any new sporting contacts in order to broaden the social intercourse formed by twinning.

All recreational and social groups are welcome to join the Association, existing members include - dance troupes, bands, stamp collectors, youth groups, drama groups and many others, not forgetting the many individuals who have forged long lasting friendships as a result of Town Twinning.
