 My examples

    basic mouse over

This is a basic mouse over set at the default size of 120 x 24 pixels.  It is set on the glow effect, and it changes from blue to burgundy.  Text is set on the default font, MS Sans Serif.

                                          custom mouse overs

My custom mouse overs took a little more work...First I created an original composition 100 x 100 pixels.  To do so, I took advantage of the picture tube tool, which gives me different images to work with, such as the sun, shooting star, even the colored circles.  Next, I made a copy of my image, and finally, I altered the copy by using the deformation and effect tools.  Put the original and the copy together, and you get a custom mouse over.

banner #1

This banner is actually bigger, but I resized it to fit in this space.  The original is 600 x 65 pixels.  Here all I did was combine picture tube tools to get a collage of different images.  I used a cloud texture behind my name, and the font was done in Harrington.

banner #2

This banner is a little smaller, at 450 x 60 pixels.  I used a picture of myself to make this.  All I did was use the selection tool to copy my eyes, then paste them onto the banner.  I inverted the colors on the left picture, and added floating text in the center.  Finishing touches included a drop shadow to my name, and changing the color of my eyes with the brush tool.

web graphics

These buttons were done by selecting areas using the circle selection tool.  I used the contract tool to make smaller circles inside bigger ones, and used the rotation tool to rotate the shading 180 degrees each time.  I used the colorization tool to pick the perfect colors, and finally I added floating text with a drop shadow!
