I think it was really said that Dax died and I definitely don't think it benefited the series in any way in fact I think it made it worse, no she is no replacement for Jadzia. She was in a totally different league, Don't really no I don't think it was ever the same after Jadzia died, Jadzia should be brought back in a DS9 film

I hated when Jadzia Dax was killed off. I mean, Terry even begged them to not kill Dax, and they did anyway. I think it hurt DS9 terribly when they lost Jadzia, she was the best character. She was the reason that I watched in the first place. Her sense of humor, courage, and smile will be missed.
No. Plain and simple. Ezri is cute, but she is no Jadzia. I miss Jadzia!!!, Well, since they already killed Jadzia Dax, it doesn't seem to be able to get any worse for them, so it's already over in my opinion.
I have always loved Star Trek, except the originals. On Next Generation, Tasha Yar was my favorite. (And Yes that is my real name), and they killed her. Then, Jadzia Dax was my all time favorite character and they killed her. I mean, they didn't even give her a real funeral! And Sisko was more concerned with what he was going to do then her death. That was cheap. At least Tasha got a memorial. No one will ever be able to replace Jadzia.

It was a shame they killed her off but, since she is a trill, they were bound to. A friend of mine was disappointed the episode did not feature her character heavily but I though it was a clever original idea. It would have been nice to see her die doing something noble but this way will have a better affect on the crew, especially Sisko who blames himself. And about Gul Dukat..., Jadzia if irreplaceable (sorry about the spelling) as is Terry Farrell. However, Ezri is doing very well in a position which seemed almost impossible to fill. , I live in England where you have to be constantly alert as to when the next episode is coming. we only have recently got series six but I have seen season 7 on video. For us DS9 is very much alive at the moment!, DS9 is the best of the star trek shows as it has the most interesting cast of characters. However, it seems to me less average viewers watch it now. Will the devoted fans be able to keep it alive? I hope so.

I think it's really terrible that Jadzia died! She was my favorite character, and I'm really going to miss her:-( I think that her death may just benefit the series, but we will all miss Jadzia!, No., No!, Star Trek is the best thing to ever happen to me!

I think they killed off the most interesting character of DS9., I don't think so. Doesn't seem to be the actresses' fault, but the first couple of episodes she just looked like a puppy dog who got caught doing something wrong. She doesn't seem to benefit from having lived 8 lifetimes. I do like the budding romance between her and Bashir., Hasn't been the same since., I would like to see Jadzia brought back somehow in future movies.

I did not have a chance to see the last episode with Jadzia, until, the next season. I had been told through the summer, that she was killed. I could not believe it, but it was true. Could her death benefit the series? No, I do not believe that is could, it would have been one thing, that she was gone, but when they replaced her with Ezri Dax, well that was it for me. Here we had a symbiont (sp), full of knowledge, in a immature human, it was so sad it was funny!
Ezri, was in my opinion the wrong choice, I truly believe they added her with no thought.
Ezri, is a great character, but not as Dax.
Funny, when ds9 first started, I refused to watch. I was so angry that they discontinued The Next Generation. Then, I started to watch, and found I loved the show. I think Star Trek, will live with out Ds9, I will miss her. Lets hope they do a movie.
Star Trek, is a dream a lot of us have of a future. Can you imagine, being so happy in a job, you require no payment! Or no hunger. It is perfect, that is the LIFE!

The series won't be affected too much. [Isrie is ok.], yes&no. She is doing the best she can but nobody will ever be able to completely fill the [void], no But another show will take it's place. [besides their is always voyager.], I've enjoyed most of the episodes. [in all of the series.]

I think it might have been good timing for Terry Farrell, but the show lost a little rhythm when she left, not yet, but in time, as she learned herself, she might, it will not be quite the same, no, I like all star trek. I didn't used to, but even voyager grew on me as it hit it's second season. I try to withhold judgment on shows for at least that long so everyone can get used to the other actors, learn where they want to go with their characters, and get the pace down.

her death will not benefit the series at all, no. well obviously not... but it does help that Ezri is still Jadzia in some ways. but then again she's not and Jadzia was good friends with everyone.no!!!!!!, star trek is cool, right?

it was dumb. Obviously they were just trying to get a somewhat sexier girl for her part. (They didn't do a very good job, lol)
Well since the series it over I guess yea., Sure, lol, Yea...we got Voyager still!, It will be? Cool, I like that. : )
Well DS9 was a cool show. I watched it sporadically except for its last couple seasons, I watched them quite a bit. I think it and Voyager were both pretty much tied. But Babylon 5 beat 'em all, lol, too bad it ended too. : (
And Crusade is no where near as being as good as B5!!! Oh yea. I am straying off subject, hee hee.
All Star trek shows are good except for the original I don't like it. TNG is ok. DS9 was cool and so is Voyager. : - )

I was agitated at Terry Farrell for a while then I saw her on Becker and she was great as Reggie. Jazzier was one of the best characters, but she wasn't the whole series. When she died it was a great loss, but their is still Bashir (so very cute), Sisko, and the rest of the gang. I've been watching since I was little and as long as they don't kill off most of their cast it's a great series. It was rated #1 syndicate and #2 drama series ever., Ezri Dax is not Jadzia, she's a totally different person. She can't completely fill Jadzia's shoes, because of the difference. Jadzia was a scientist and Ezri is a counselor. She analyzes everyone's lives and I think it gets on peoples nerves. I kind of like that aspect about her. She's not that much of a Klingon and she's a little bit more passive then Jadzia was. Yet, I kind of like it that she isn't as aggressive as Jadzia. Her passiveness left her open for Bashir. The people on DS9 lost a great friend and gained a new friend.!
They had to create a Dax and they couldn't make her too much like Jadzia. She's unique and she still lives on in our hearts. (not to mention, as a little peace of Ezri, she wouldn't' be on the station if she didn't hold a piece of Jadzia in her), No, there was something about Deep Space Nine, Home Improvement, and Mad About You that you can't duplicate. They were the 90's and now they 90's is ending. We are entering the new millennium with that weird throw it in your face comedy. It was all about political correctness now it's all about the laughs. People don't care too much about who gets hurts anymore, it's how funny it is. All those shows were innocent and didn't step on peoples toes a little too much. Those were the years that I grew up in and when the millennium hits I'll be an adult. TV will not be as innocent as it was before. It's sad that Deep Space Nine is the end of innocence., When I was 10 I started watching it and now I'm 17. I can't believe I grew up on a television show.7 years is a lot of time. I wasn't really a trekkie before this show, but now I am. My first two crushes were Matt Perry on friends and Alexander Siddig on Deep Space Nine. I always thought their was something wrong with me, because I had a crush on the good doctor. Now I know it was a great show and it's pretty sad that it has to end. I have seen all of the episodes, except "Move Along Home". This summer I am trying to watch as many repeats as possible and if I am around in three weeks on a Wednesday I'll have seen every ep. Thanx Deep Space Nine, I'll miss you...
