Approximately 91.5%* of my dolls are based on my own characters. I've arranged them according to setting. You can adopt these dolls according to my terms of use, which you should read before downloading anything.

My dolls are free for adoption to your site, unless otherwise specified. Just link back to me, please, and I'll be happy.

In particular:

1. Unless a specific doll or graphic is otherwise marked, you may adopt my dolls to display on your site. You must link to me, either on the same page, or somewhere extremely obvious.
2. If you adopt a doll, kindly link to the base maker, too.
3. You may not use my dolls for signatures, avatars, or other personal images without specific permission.
4. If you want to do anything besides display my dolls or give my dolls awards, you need to get permission, first.
5. Under certain conditions listed below, you may be able to make dolls based on my characters and worlds. The characters still belong to me, and I expect credit if you use them.

You are absolutely not permitted to display my dolls as your own, edited or otherwise. Believe me, I can identify even the tiniest piece of my own work.

Most of my dolls are based on my own characters. These characters are my own creations, and they are very special to me. The dolls are strongly associated with the characters, and both characters and dolls belong to me, even if I permit you to adopt them, or create dolls based on my characters. In order to create dolls based on my characters or designs, you need to get permission (see below for more information).

Finally, be sure to upload adopted dolls onto your own server. Bandwidth theft is not nice! (And it won't work from Geocities, anyway.)

Using My Characters

As a general rule, I am delighted when other dollers portray my characters. Just ask, and I'll happily let you try your hand at one. I also occasionally host character contests, and I almost always have a request thread running at Dolls Online. For contests and requests, you already have permission, otherwise you need to ask.

Although I often give permission to make dolls based on my characters (or the worlds they come from), the characters do still belong to me. You need to credit me when displaying them, and you should consider them as you would a gift or request for me. You may take inspiration from my designs, but please don't copy them. To make a doll based on a character you should know something about the character, not just copy a doll I already made.

I work very hard at crediting all the bases I use. If you ever discover that I've mixed up or left out a credit, please let me know immediately so I can fix it.

On the doll pages, there should be a base link under each doll. I most often use bases from Eleni Aranelwa and Xandorra's Place.
