Fantasy Dolls: My Characters

I've organized into collections by category. I update all sections, and you'll find my early work mixed in. My own characters are in My Worlds when I have several from one story, otherwise they go in My Characters. For dolls of characters who don't belong to me, or no character in particular, try Other Worlds.

Please read my Terms of Use before adopting anything.

Miscellaneous~ Saralyn ~ Kessane ~ Ritha ~ Trinian & Lissana ~ Alternates

I'm not sure she really looks like Isa. Part 1 of a character study, I like how the ragged look turned out. Part 2: Destri all cleaned up. Part 3: Now she's Princess Destriana. Jess is not the sort of princess who sits around waiting to be rescued. Helyn requested a doll based on a sprite named Arianne. I tried to follow the sprite, adding detail and making changes as necessary.

Mina is a minor supporting character, a priestess in one of her fancier outfits. A newer portrait of Dayna.
Cute sprite Dayna A portrait of an older Dayna.
Dayna dancing (Or else an excuse to make a tutorial. You pick.) She has a fancy name to go with the dress, but she was born Mindra, known as Mindi. Isa Alissandra
Arianne

Kalea Princess Clariella, dressed to be abducted by an evil sorceress. (It's all part of the plan!) Zandra Ravenhair makes a pretty convincing evil sorceress, don't you think? I'll just call her Marielle and leave it at that. Alissandra of Rill

Seliene looks much too young. (Try the alternate version for use against darker backgrounds, or if you can't see the shading.) I'm sure she's a character, I just don't know which one. I doubt Arrian is her only name. She's something that resembles an earth mage. The doll really looks nothing like the character, although exotic is appropriate. I envisioned a very specific doll... and got this, instead. Maybe she is a character named Cara, maybe not.

The character I was going for is called Elleren. The lavender 'top' actually extends down past her waist, as you can see in the alternate version. This is supposed to be dressy for visiting a village market, so Dayna is wearing a skirt and no visible weapons. (The boots being a concession to bad streets.) I tried several ways of making eyes for Wren, and ended up with the one I started with. Go figure. I made the doll for a contest - she's meant to be one of Aubrey's Kaes warriors - yet she works surprising well as pre-priestess Jenian. She's the Sorceress of Seasons, a brand new character.

Saralyn

Saralyn is a sorceress, like her mother. She marries a magician, and they hide away in villages while raising their family. A daughter of the People of the Sea, Saralyn has naturally green hair.
Saralyn and Kalen, hiding out as ordinary villagers. Saralyn again. The brown hair is a disguise. (It's hard to hide out in the country when you have green hair.) Saralyn in her mother's court, just starting to cast a spell. Saralyn in a style I like to call 'Magician Casual'

She looked sweet and innocent without the makeup, which would hardly do for Saralyn. Saralyn and her daughter, Celesta, ready for the spring festival. A fancy portrait.

Kessane

Kess Aisley was a fairly normal daughter of the manor... then there was war, and an invasion. What's a girl to do but join the resistance?
Kess doesn't really make a convincing peasant... probably because she's really the lady of the manor. A younger Kessane, in a party dress. (Note the similar embroidery.) I like to call this one 'Resistance Leader Kess.' A portrait of Kess looking sad.
Kess again, yelling this time.
Kess looking unusually formal. I suspect this occurs significantly later in the story. Possibly she is playing exiled princess.

Ritha
I'd intended to play with skirts, but Ritha just had to stay simple. Note the knife... she probably has more than one. (Early doll.) It's a dress, and it's black. For Ritha, that's deep mourning. If everyone thinks you're a dancer, you do have to dance once in a while. Ritha doesn't mind... it's good exercise, and the costumes always cause a stir. Ritha needs her own section! This getup is for ceremonial sword dancing. The skirts and loose hair add to the challenge and the show. More practical battle attire, but still part show, to look the part of a warleader. Oddly enough, this latest version is the sort of thing I originally had in mind for my first Ritha doll. It's a dancer-type outfit, but probably not one she'd wear at court. Helyn wanted me to try Ritha on a base by Xandorra. She's dressed for an early morning work out at the palace. Very early.

Trinian and Lissana

Two generations of an elven family.
Lissana is an elf lady who is really only significant because she is Trinian's mother. The doll, however, won an award. Trinian, Lissana's daughter, is a primary character in one of my more minor stories. Wavy hair would be more appropriate for Trinian, but halfway through I decided she'd be Lissana, instead.
base
Lissana Trinian and the Ring of Illusion (the animation doesn't loop) Trinian and her ring, with a looping animation A casual Trinian, because I felt like it. She'd appear like this more often in the story.
base
Trinian isn't very respectful of her crown. This portrait of Trinian was a hair experiment.

Dragons
'Zia' is really just her nickname, and technically speaking she's a dragon. (Depicted in her humanoid form, of course.) Zia Liliel
base
A portrait of Liliel. She's Zia's cousin, and a full dragon.
A much better version of Zia. I tried to give this one wings, but it didn't work. (Her full name is Azianne.) So, I gave her a completely new outfit, and got this version. She's probably only wear this at dragon events.

Alternates

Sometimes I can't leave well enough alone!
Technically Lili was the alternate, but this one isn't really a character. Her name is Marina.
Not for adoption.
This alternate of Seliene works better against darker backgrounds, where the other is too bright. Zia in her dark blue outfit, in human form. Non-sparkly version. Just something I experimented with when working on Ritha's early morning look. I'd have finished off the sleeves if I really intended for them to be view separately... but doesn't the fuzzy part of her cloak make a great scarf?
