Dec 22, '00	Hi Guys! Long time .. no update .. sorry :( Check out the details for the "after-Christmas luncheon" at the Heritage at Classmatenews ... an annual event of epic (almost) proportions! And welcome to a bunch of new classmates found by ME (aka your webmaster) on Classmates.com website .. 5 of them to be exact, although we current only have email addresses for 3 of them. Judy Graley (Bailey) is living in Huntington with retired husband Johnny but traveling a lot, and Judy Mullins (Wolfe) is living and working in Charlotte, NC. Both married their husbands in '64 and both husbands had careers at INCO ... what a coincidence. JUdy .. JUdy .. JUdy! Fred Haeberle is alive and well and living in Fresno, CA with his wife Kathleen. Also located on Classmates.com were Don Folden, and Janet Lawson ... who hopefully will provide email addresses to be posted here soon. Welcome to all! Sept 25, '00	The DePascales entertained their southern classmates in style last night at their Athens GA home with 13 classmates in attendance ... counting Bob and Patty Necessary from the class of '64 and '63 respectively AND Bob Wysong who was on the phone to everyone for hours! Sept 21, '00	A new crop of "on-liners" has been rooted out by Anne via the postcard mailings: Brenda Burk (Conner), Brooks Drake, Jane McCaskey (Beatty), and Bobby Wysong. Aug 3, '00	Geez! Leave town for a few days and miss all the action! Thanks to Becky's highly popular Pony Express Mail (PEM), five on-line classmates have been added to the list: Margaret Adkins (Cremeans) and Brenda Sue Cook (Buford) living in Huntington, Barbara Akers (Ridenour) in Pittsburg, Henry Kayes from Richmond VA, and Kirk Smith who runs a B&B in Crested Butte, CO with his wife. James Wolf has been found and removed from the missing list, but Jim McComas, Patrica Johnson, and Sharon Dague have been added .. lost 'em! Wrong direction gang!! Plans are in the works for a mini-reunion ... Southern style .. at Ernie De Pascale's in Athens GA on September 24th. Ya'll come now, y'heah? Links have been added on the Homepage to The Herald Dispatch website for those of you craving an overdose of local Huntington news, and at Jim Kyer's suggestion, you can find out if Frank Booth really DOES know all the words to that old song that used to drive you crazy via a Billboard Top 100 link on Funstuff. Finally .. and sadly, we've heard of the death of Steffie Schein but no details are known.

July 10, '00	Lots of updates resulting from Becky's very popular Pony Express Mail chain letter: Four "lost" classmates have been found; Bonnie Farmer (Herdman) living in Richmond VA, Billy Diamond living in Point Pleasant and Edgar Romine living in Huntington (no email), and Lottie Thomas who sadly died a few years back. Check personal webpages for Chuck Carter, Linda Meadows (Hodges), and Suzanne Szlemko (Bowles) for updates and/or address revisions. Also note email changes for Ken Hobbs, David Sherrill, Charlie Bagley, and Carolyn Fleming (Hegnauer). We recently lost two of our favorite teachers. Sally Bias, who taught Spanish passed away June 18th and our Chemisty teacher, Jack Nichols died July 2nd. They will both be remembered fondly by many. Finally, I've eliminated the "Talk it Up Link" which was meant to capture the chain email info Becky is handling so well. Redundant and too confusing.

Mar 29, '00	Two new classmates were located by "eagle-eye Becky". Steffie Jacobs (Susman) and Mary Woodward (Workman) had registered at the www.highschoolalumni.com website and Becky snared 'em. Steffie has been living near Philadelphia since '69, has one son and is working in direct marketing there now. Mary is a legal secretary living in Knoxville since '79 and has 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Check out comments from both Steffie and Mary on the Guestbook. Janet Hoy (Mills) has moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming and wants to stay in touch via her new email address at janetmills@hotmail.com . Got it, Janet!
Feb 24, '00	Occasionally we find new classmates have registered with the commercial website Classmates.com . That's how we stumbled across Carolyn Carico (Wilson) and James Owen recently! No details were available on either of them but as we learn of them, we'll pass them along. Welcome guys! Feb 13, '00	If you want to track down lost classmates, Judy Kaylor and Janet Hoy are your "go to" gals! They have located 2 more this week .. Sharon Stover (Duesterhaus) and John Ritter. Sharon lives in Quincy, Illinois and gets back to Huntington to see her mom on a regular basis. Learn more about her on the Guestbook. Coincidentally, the Class of 1960 is holding their 40th reunion on the same weekend and has given us a "heads-up" that we will all be welcome to various "unofficial HHS soirees" yet to be determined. Jan 15 '00	Cancer has claimed another of our dear friends from the Class of '62. Jimmy Evans died today at his home in McMurray, PA. He will be greatly missed by his many good friends at HHS.

Dec 9, '99	Tragedy continues to haunt us as we lose yet another treasured friend and classmate. Steve Goodman died of a heart attack today only weeks after the death of his wife Kathy (Haddad). After high school, Steve's popularity earned him the position of student body president at Marshall. He spent the rest of his life in Huntington. We'll miss you, Steve.

Nov 21, '99	We are devastated today by the lost of yet another classmate ... claimed by a recent reoccurance of leukemia. Janis Sanford Hickok excelled ... at character, at friendship, at courage, at love. She took great joy in her renewed association with classmates and we will remember her warmth always as we revisit her special webpage.
Nov 20, '99	In little more than a month, we've lost another treasured classmate ... again to cancer. Peggy Edwards Hughes was one of our most beloved and popular classmates and a special friend to all she touched. Our hearts go out to her family as we remember with love, our "Miss Pony Express".
Oct 19, '99	Today we are saddened by the death of our dear friend and classmate, Bill Wilcox, who died of cancer at his home in Palm City, FL. He will be remembered fondly and sorely missed by his many friends who loved him.

Sep 25, '99	Chalk up two new "found" classmates: Janet Rose (Greller), last seen at the Winchester reunion, has finally revealed her email address. She's living in Earlyville, VA with her husband and two newly adopted little boys! Great email address, Janet! Also, Judy Kaylor (McCann) recently registered with Classmates.com (link http://www.classmates.com) and Becky found her name there. Judy lives in Oak Island, NC with husband Jerry. Joe claims to be a member of 3 different senior classes but ours was the last (remember the standing ovation when he got his diploma?), so we claimed him. Finally, through Joe we found Natalie Pace. Feb 10, '99	Sad news ... As reported in the Herald Dispatch, Former Huntington High School track coach Ray McCoy, 90, is in fair condition at St. Mary's Hospital after suffering a stroke on Feb 9. Best wishes for a speedy recovery Coach!
