 Raleigh NC has been "home" since May 1, 1980.  During that time I have raised two children, Alex, now 31, and Nicole, now 24.  

In addition to my primary activity of being "Mom," I found time to work, teach Sunday school and vacation Bible school, lead guided tours at the NC Museum of Art, and work toward a second degree (English literature) at NSCU.

 Alex is an outdoor enthusiast. He excels at everything from whitewater rafting to mountain climbing.  Here he is shown with a more "Mom friendly" sport (less worrisome): bicycling.

His interest in sports combines with his business degree to form an interesting career at REI corporate headquarters in Seattle, WA. He plans to start working on an MBA in September.

 Here I am with Nicki. She is an interior designer/space planner with an architectural & engineering firm in Arlington VA. Her gentle disposition and creative ability have made her successful in her career. While she no longer is in Raleigh, thank goodness she lives in Eastern US!
nasser_g4.jpg (11782 bytes) This is a photo of Steve Hulme, my long-time companion, and me. Steve is a computer software designer with Netscape/AOL. We enjoy sailing on the series of boats he has owned. (I am still trying to learn to follow orders without question!)
