Omegas vs. The Bible
n response to the Omegas on Greek chat, I refuse to let them muffle the truth. So here is a partial view of what they are really about.
1. Omega is a self-exalting organization- 43 times we see of Omega, for Omega, on Omega, to Omega, etc. This comes in the indoctrinating INITIATION ceremony. Example: Every loyal "Son OF Omega", "Who be ye that dareth to intrude upon the sanctity, peace, and quietude OF omega?" "Their implicit confidence IN Omega."
2. After the oath, Omega admits that a covenant is formed. Born Again Believer! I ask you; to Whom and to What have you made a covenant? You have the ritual, so you know yourself: It's called an UNEQUAL YOKE which God forbids us to have. But let the Holy Spirit be your JUDGE.
3. False Doctrine on Faith- First they quote scripture. "Without faith it is impossible to please God." Then Omega says, "Without faith it is also impossible to please man." I do not see where this is implied in scripture. Instead I see that ungodly men gravitate toward doubt and unbelief. It is natural for the unsaved man not to be pleased by faith. They also teach that an pledge is to have faith in their brothers. This is the reason for their second quote. The explanation of having faith in their brothers is in the test of obedience. Omega is saying that by using discretion and faith in your brothers they should have obeyed Omega. "for with the discretion of Omega and the faith of your brothers, there needs be no fear of being led astray." Omega states that you SWEAR allegiance to her cause. One thing Christian, you are swearing to a cause you do not even have knowledge of. You are grasping and groping in darkness. This is exactly what cults say about you. That they have the light you seek, and that you are in darkness.
4. Teaches a false doctrine on Eternal Life; actually stating that they are going to the same place the other dead brother are at. This place is called Omega Chapter. If all the dead Omega men go there, then either all were worthy for heaven or hell. So all Omegas are saved or sinners. They teach that, "their dead brothers have righteous souls and are at peace, and there shall no torment touch them." This can only be true of the righteous dead. But they are claiming that all Omegas' souls are righteous just for being Omegas. Jesus is nowhere to be mentioned. Salvation by faith is not taught. Repentance is nowhere to be seen.
You can't be a teacher and supporter of Christian manhood without including Jesus as Savior and His gift of repentance. The Rituals of GLO's will speak for themselves. They will cry loud and spare not of the abundance of their ungodly principles and false teachings. They will always say to the Christian, "I am the wide and broad gate that leads to destruction." Jesus warned his disciples to Beware of the leaven (i.e. Doctrine) of the Pharisees. The Ritual of your GLO says, "Beware of the leaven contained in me."
Omega Psi Phi vs. II Timothy 2:3
Omega says, "Endure hardness as a good soldier."
II Timothy 2:3 says, "Endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ."
Here we have a purposeful admittance of scripture. Why? Because in a later explanation given in the ritual, the following passage in the Omega ritual WOULD read, "Endure hardness as a good soldier of Omega Psi Phi."
Here we have again a GLO that claims to be founded upon Christian principles summarily removing Christ from His proper place and distorting scripture.
