Welcome all past, present, and future food service professionals to the Evil Waiter pages. Anyone who has worked in food service knows the frustrations that come with the job. On these pages, I'll chronicle some of my experiences and I hope that you will find this site enlightening (or amusing). Please excuse the state of things. As with most websites, we are going to be renovating somewhat.

I'm sure you'll see that the old food service adage, "We see all kinds." is very true.

A note for customers:

If you find a that a story or description sounds particularly familiar, don't take it personally. Odds are, it's not about you, and I've probably never even met you. These sorts of situations probably happen every day at restaurants and bistros all over the world. Of course, it wouldn't hurt if you paid heed to how you're perceived, either...

If you enjoyed your stay, remember, it's customary to tip 15%.

• Been a while, but we just had a wacky theft that I had to tell the world about. Not sure if he counts as a Darwin Nominee as he's not dead. At least he managed to leave with his loot on his own power (feel free to groan, it's sort of a pun).

• I just got the most rediculous phone call ever, and had to blog it.

  'Thank You.' just doesn't seem enough.
