Week 8 Scores

Week #8 (InterDivisional)

Meek Boys 134
Pigskin Pipsqueaks 92

The Meeks outscored the Pips in all categories and cruised
to a 42-point win. The Meeks were led by Peyton Manning
with 37 points, James Thrash with 32, and the Tampa
defense with 22. The Pips were led by Brett Favre with 25
points. The Meeks move up to 6-2, and the Pips fall back
to 3-5.

West Texas Mustangs 122
Butchers 112

The Butchers got edged this week by a slightly better
Mustang team. Jay Fielder led the 'Nags with 33 points.
He got help from the Eagles' defense with 26 and Kevin
Johnson with 25. Brian Griese led the Butchers with 33 as
well, and they got 23 from Buffalo and 22 from Troy Brown.
The Mustangs improve to 4-4, and the Butchers drop to 2-6.

Cheeseheads 110
American Looney 89

The Cheeseheads beat the Loons by 21 this week. Kerry
Collins led all scorers for the 'Heads with 45 points.
They also got 22 from the Green Bay defense. The Loons
were led by Mark Brunell with 31. The Cheeseheads move
up to 5-3, and the Looney fall back to a paltry 1-7.

Missouri Manglers 136
Dawgs 83

The Manglers' decision to start Tom Brady over Jeff Garcia
would seem to make little difference because the Manglers
still won. Forty-six points from Brady led the way. They
also got 28 more from Priest Holmes and 27 from Rod Smith.
Tim Brown led the Dawgs with 23 points, and they got 22 more
from Aaron Brooks. The Manglers retain their league-leading
7-1 record, and the Dawgs drop back to 5-3.

Mark's Mules 124
Bemay Gizzards 91

The Mules climbed to .500 with a win over the Gizzards.
Rich Gannon led all scorers for the Mules with 39 points.
They also got 22 each from Shaun Alexander and Anthony
Thomas. The Gizzards were led by Stephen Davis with 22
points and Mike Vanderjagt with 21. The Mules improve to
4-4, and the Gizzards fall back to 3-5.

McKamikaze Highlanders 117
Outlanders 118

After the math and check on the NFL web site, the Outlanders
come away with a 1-point Edge Close Shave of the Week
victory. The Highlanders were led by Terrell Owens with 32
points and 30 more from interim QB Brad Johnson. Jake
Plummer led by Outlanders with 34 points. They also got 28
from the Giants' defense. The Highlanders fall to 3-5 and
Outlanders have a 5-3 record.
