Week 11 Scores
Week #11 (InterDivisional)
Outlanders 131
American Looney 87
The Outlanders beat the Loons this week, mainly thanks to
the Cleveland Browns. The Cleveland defense scored 51
points, best for either side. The Outlanders also got 23
from Daunte Culpepper and 22 from David Boston. Mark
Brunell led the Loons with 30 points. The Outlanders
improve to 6-5, and the league-worst Loons drop to 2-9.
Meek Boys 177
Missouri Manglers 130
In this matchup between the league's two best teams, the
Meeks wrested away the title of "Best Team" from the
Manglers. The Meeks were led by Eric Moulds with 53 points.
They also got 42 from Peyton Manning, 31 from the Tampa
defense, and 22 from Marvin Harrison. The Manglers were
led by Antowain Smith with 35 points. They got 29 more from
Jeff Garcia. Both teams are now 9-2.
West Texas Mustangs 161
Cheeseheads 112
The 'Heads took one on the chin this week, losing to the
Mustangs. Jay Fiedler led the 'Nags with 48 points. They
got 35 more from Garrison Hearst and 22 from Ahman Green.
The Cheeseheads were led with 23 each from Jason Elam and
the Packers' defense. The Mustangs and Cheeseheads each
have equivalent 6-5 records.
Pigskin Pipsqueaks 110
Bemay Gizzards 103
The Pips squeezed by the Gizzards during the week of Turkey
Day. Brett Favre led the charge as usual for the Pips with
37 points. They also got 23 from the Dolphins' defense.
The Gizzards got a sparkling 56 from Kordell Stewart, but
the rest of the team let him down. The Pips and Gizzards
each have 4-7 records.
Butchers 116
Dawgs 99
In another close game, the Butchers upset the Dawgs by 17.
Jason Brookins led the Butchers with 23 points. QB Brian
Griese followed close behind with 22. Tim Brown led all
scorers for the Dawgs with 32 points. The Butchers move up
to 4-7, and the Dawgs drop back to 7-4.
Mark's Mules 118
McKamikaze Highlanders 104
Yeah, the Highlanders still can't buy a win in a close game.
If you leave out the 53-point shellacking at the hands of
the Manglers, the Highlanders have lost the other 7 games
by an average of 11 points per game. Four of those losses
are 8 points or less. A touchdown here and there, and this
would be a different season. Anyway, Rich Gannon led the
Mules with 43, and Dominick Rhodes chipped in with 29. Kurt
Warner led the Highlanders with 34, and Terrell Owens threw
in another 22 points. The Mules move up to 6-5, and the
Highlanders remain mired in last place at 3-8.
