Jiahui |
I am a student from River Valley High School doing a project on "Food". Do you mind if I take a few pictures of the insect sweets? |
Shopkeeper |
No. (in addition, she shook her head) |
Jiahui |
No, as in No, you mind, or No, you don't mind? |
Shopkeeper |
No, cannot take. (inclusive of a shake of the head) |

Which food do you think most represent Singapore? |
Couple |
Rice and water. Without rice, people cannot live and the country
will suffer. We will not have enough food to eat. In the late 60s, there
was a shortage of food and many people starved. Rice is very important.
Water is the source of life ....(this continued for quite some time until
they had nothing to say) |
At School.... (over involved)
