YOAKAM and Eliza DAVIS) on 15 Mar 1885 in Coos County, Oregon. John YOAKAM was born on 30 Jul 1859 in Coos County, Oregon. He died in 1938 in Coos County, Oregon. Mr. Houser was born at North Carolina, Tennessee., April 3, 1871. He came to Coos county when about eight years old and made his home in Bridge and in Myrtle Point since that time. On April 27, 1944, Mr. and Mrs. Houser celebrated their golden wedding. He has been a logging contractor all his life. Besides his wife, Clara Josephine, he is survived by a son, Harry C., of Portland; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Weeden, Portland, and Mrs. Virgie Billings, Myrtle Point; one granddaughter, Mrs. Charles McIntee, of this city; a brother, Fine Houser, Coquille; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Warner, Powers, and Mrs. P.W. Culver Coquille. Interment was in the Norway cemetery, Rev. Phil Ryan, officiating, and the Myrtle Point Odd Fellows acting as pallbearers and having services at the grave. He was also known as J.G. Newspaper article regarding the deaths of Archie and Olis Houser as written in the Myrtle Point Enterprise February 14, 1902 Two children of Mr and Mrs Jas Houser, who reside at Bridge, on the Middle Fork, died very peculiar deaths last Saturday night. They were suddenly taken ill and in a few hours the younger child, about one year old, died, the other child, aged four years, living but a few hours after. The cause of the deaths is not known but is supposed to have been caused by some kind of poisoning though a thorough search failed to shed any light on the supposition as no poison of any kind could be found about the place. Tom Skyler of the Methodist Church officiating. The Myrtle Point Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Warner was born Sept. 20, 1878, in Big Creek and died April 21 in Bandon. She had lived in Powers since 1942, and had been a resident of Bandon for the past 12 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S., on July 19, 1945. Survivors include her daughters, Hulda Baron of North Bend, and Nina Shults of Bandon; half-sister, Nellie Eads of Myrtle Point; step-mother, Bessie Hauser of Canyonville; six grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was buried on 25 Apr 1979 in Warner Cemetery, Wiley Ranch (near Broadbent). She was married to Charles Stephen WARNER (son of Calvin WARNER and Fannie GETTY) on 29 Nov 1899.
