70 Years Dies

Last rites will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Campbell's
funeral home for Mary Caroline Goldbloom, 76, a resident of Coos
Bay 70 years.  Mrs. Goldbloom died yesterday morning at her home,
1066 south Eighth street, Coos Bay.

Rev. Gilbert Newland will officiate at the funeral and interment
will be at Coos River cemetery.

Among survivors are the husband, Dan Goldbloom; two sons, Jasper 
Yokam of Langlois, and Edwin Yokam of Coos Bay; one daughter,
Mrs. Lillian Cooper of El Monte, Cal., two brothers, J.G. Hauser
of Myrtle Point and Fines Hauser of Coquille; and two sisters,
Mrs. Charles Warner of Powers, and Mrs. P.W. Culver of Coquille.

She was married to John YOAKAM (son of John A. YOAKAM and Eliza
DAVIS) on 15 Mar 1885 in Coos County, Oregon.  John YOAKAM was
born on 30 Jul 1859 in Coos County, Oregon.  He died in 1938 in
Coos County, Oregon.  He was buried in Coos River Cemetery, Coos
County, Oregon.  Mary Carolina HOUSER and John YOAKAM had the
following children:

		Edwin Dow YOAKAM.
		Jasper R. YOAKAM.  
		John Clinton YOAKAM was born in Mar 1889
                        in Oregon.  He died on 30 Jan 1909 in
                        Coos County, Oregon.  He was buried in

Oregon.  George W. MORRIS was born in Mar 1867 in Missouri.  Mary 
Carolina HOUSER and George W. MORRIS had the following children:

                        in Oregon.

She was married to Jason Dias MACHADO (son of Frank MACHADO and
Helena DIAS) on 1 Oct 1910 in San Francisco, California.  Jason
Dias MACHADO was born in 1856 in St. Michaels, Portugal.  He died
on 13 Dec 1917.



James Giliam HOUSER was born on 3 Apr 1871 in North Carolina.
He was a Logger from 1895 to 1910.  He was an Agricultural
Cultivator in 1910 in Middle fork of the Coquille River, Coos
County, Oregon.  He died on 10 Dec 1945 in Mast Hospital, Myrtle
Point, Coos County, Oregon.

Held Wednesday
For James Hauser

Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon, for James
Giliam Houser, who died at the Mast hospital on Monday, following 
an illness of several months.

Mr. Houser was born at North Carolina, Tennessee., April 3, 1871.
He came to Coos county when about eight years old and made his
home in Bridge and in Myrtle Point since that time.  On April 27,
1944, Mr. and Mrs. Houser celebrated their golden wedding.  He
has been a logging contractor all his life.

Besides his wife, Clara Josephine, he is survived by a son, Harry
C., of Portland; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Weeden, Portland, and
Mrs. Virgie Billings, Myrtle Point; one granddaughter, Mrs.
Charles McIntee, of this city; a brother, Fine Houser, Coquille;
two sisters, Mrs. Florence Warner, Powers, and Mrs. P.W. Culver
Coquille.

Interment was in the Norway cemetery, Rev. Phil Ryan,
officiating, and the Myrtle Point Odd Fellows acting as
pallbearers and having services at the grave.


He was also known as J.G.  He was educated in Coos County,
Oregon.  He was buried in Norway Cemetery.

Clara Hauser

MYRTLE POINT - Mrs. Clara Josephine Hauser, Myrtle Point, died
Dec. 30 in Mast Hospital after a long illness.  She was born at
Allegany, Jan. 19, 1879, and had spent all of her life in Coos
County, the last 24 years in this area.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Schroeder Mortuary.
Burial will be in the Norway Cemetery.  Survivors include:
daughters, Mrs. Virgie Billings, Myrtle Point, and Mrs. Edith
Rose, Los Gatos, Calif.; son, Harry Hauser, Portland:  sisters,
Mrs. Edna Duckett, Reedsport, and Mrs. Eva Woods, Los Gatos;
brother, Frank Pierce, in Washington; three grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren.

She was also known as Josie.  She was buried in Norway Cemetery.

Two children of Mr and Mrs Jas Houser, who reside at Bridge, on
the Middle Fork, died very peculiar deaths last Saturday night.
They were suddenly taken ill and in a few hours the younger
child, about one year old, died, the other child, aged four
years, living but a few hours after.  The cause of the deaths is
not known but is supposed to have been caused by some kind of
poisoning though a thorough search failed to shed any light on
the supposition as no poison of any kind could be found about the
place.  Another child of Mr and Mrs Houser's has been very low
but will probably recover.

		Olis E. HOUSER was born in May 1898 in Oregon.
                        He died in Feb 1902 in Oregon.

		Clara HOUSER died in infancy.



Florence HOUSER was born on 20 Sep 1878 in Big Creek, Coos County, Oregon.

MYRTLE POINT - Graveside services for Florence Warner, 100, will
be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Warner Cemetery on the
Wiley Ranch near Broadbent with the Rev. Tom Skyler of the
Methodist Church officiating.

The Myrtle Point Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Warner was born Sept. 20, 1878, in Big Creek and died April
21 in Bandon.

She had lived in Powers since 1942, and had been a resident of
Bandon for the past 12 years.  She was preceded in death by her
husband, Charles S., on July 19, 1945.

Survivors include her daughters, Hulda Baron of North Bend, and
Nina Shults of Bandon; half-sister, Nellie Eads of Myrtle Point;
step-mother, Bessie Hauser of Canyonville; six grandchildren, 23
great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.

She was buried on 25 Apr 1979 in Warner Cemetery, Wiley Ranch
(near Broadbent).

She was married to Charles Stephen WARNER (son of Calvin WARNER
and Fannie GETTY) on 29 Nov 1899.  Charles Stephen WARNER was
born on 11 Aug 1875 in Coos County, Oregon.  He died on 19 July
1945.  He was buried in Warner Cemetery, Wiley Ranch (near
Broadbent).

CHARLES S. WARNER

Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon for Charles
Stephen Warner, who died July 19, in the Mast hospital, after an
illness of three days.  Burial took place in the Warner family
cemetery at Broadbent, the Rev. Phillip Ryan officiating.

He was born August 11, 1876, on the Warner homestead at Broadbent 
and has spent his entire life in this section.

Mr. Warner is survived by his wife; three daughters; six
granddaughters, and one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Harve
Johnson, of Mt. Shasta, Calif.; three brothers, Vernon, living in
the Willamette valley; Horace, of Coos Bay, and Selden, of
Broadbent.

Florence HOUSER and Charles Stephen WARNER had the following
children:

		Hulda Evelyn WARNER.
		Ada F. WARNER.
		Delma Aileen WARNER.
		Nina C. WARNER.


Fines HOUSER was born on 26 Oct 1880 in Big Creek, Oregon.
He died on 5 Feb 1961 in Coos County, Oregon.  He was buried in
Ocean View Memory Gardens, Coos Bay, Coos County, Oregon.

Nellie was born on 16 Aug 1914 in Coos County, Oregon.  Fines
HOUSER and Nellie had the following children:

		Wilda HOUSER was born about 1918 in Coos
                        County, Oregon.

Innes HOUSER was born on 26 Oct 1880 in Big Creek, Oregon.

INNES HOUSER

Innes Houser died at his home in Bangor at 11:45 a.m. Saturday,
Feb. 10, 1940, after an illness which had kept him bedfast for
more than a year.

Born at Big Creek in Coos county Oct. 26, 1880, he passed away at
the age of 59 years, three months and 15 days.

Houser leaves to mourn his death his widow Jessie and one son
Ted, both of Bangor.

Funeral services were held from Schroeder Funeral Home at 11 a.m. 
Tuesday with interment taking place at Enchanted Prairie.


He was buried in Enchanted Prairie Cemetery, near Bridge, Coos
County, Oregon.

He was married to Jessie A. BELIEU (daughter of Matthew BELIEU
and Martha M. CRIBBINS) on 27 Mar 1910 in Coos County, Oregon.

		Ted A. HOUSER was born about 1906 in Coos 
                        County, Oregon.

Laura May HOUSER was born on 8 May 1883.  She died on 18 Dec 
1930 in Coos County, Oregon.  She was buried in Enchanted Prairie 
Cemetery, near Bridge, Coos County, Oregon.

She was married to Thomas J. ROOKARD (son of Thomas ROOKARD and
Frances Catherine HOWELL) on 10 Jan 1900.  Thomas J. ROOKARD was
born on 12 Aug 1875 in Sonoma County, California.  He died on 24
Feb 1906 in Big Creek, Oregon.  He was buried in Enchanted
Prairie Cemetery, near Bridge, Coos County, Oregon.  Thomas died
in an accident at the Williams Logging Camp.  Laura May HOUSER

Oregon.  He died on 28 Jul 1950 in Salem, Oregon.

Dies at Salem

MYRTLE POINT, July 31 - (Special) -
Donald Franklin Nelson, 68, Bandon, an old-time Myrtle Point
resident, died Friday in Salem.  Funeral services were at the
Schroeder chapel this afternoon.  The Rev. Richard Moehr
officiated.  Burial was in Norway Cemetery.

Nelson was born in October 1881 in Norway.

Survivors are two sons, Lauren, Eugene, and Desmond, Coquille,
and three daughters, Alice Adams, Petaluma, Calif., Nora Nagel,
Coos Bay, and Norma Schellond, Bandon.


Laura May HOUSER and Donald Franklin NELSON had the following
children:

		Desmond Dale NELSON.
		Alice Mae NELSON.
	        Nora Mabel NELSON.
	        Lauren Donald NELSON was born about 1912.
		Norma Eugenia NELSON.

Josephine HOUSER was born in 1889.
