1. During these service years from 1994, we provided special education and training to hundreds of mentally retarded children.
2. some mentally retarded youth were trained self employment skills and they are rehabilitated.
3. We got special medical checking to know the I.Q. level of our children at Govt General Hospital, Eluru and obtained Medical Certificate to our 75 mentally retarded children.
4. We conducted several medical camps to identify the poor mentally retarded children in surrounding villages or Bhimavaram, West Godavari district and identified 350 mentally retarded children in following village areas, Sarepally, Palakoderie, Vissakoderu, Komarada, Srungavruksham, Rangampalam, Gunupudo, Sivaraopeta, Narasa Agraharam, Pennada, Gollamadi, Undi, Attili and Kaokaluru villages about 15 of them are admitted during 1999-2000.
5. We participated in "Pulse Polio" programmes in rural areas of Bhimavaram.
6. Family counselling and Nutrition services are conducted every year with the help of Doctors or Indian Medical Association, Bhimavaram.
7. We conducted "Awareness Creation Programm" and educated public about the magnitude of mental Retardation problem, nature of problem and services.
