| The department of Electronics and Communication was established in the year 1982. |
| The Department has highly qualified and experienced staff. Many of the staff members have attended National level Seminars/Conferences and have presented technical papers successfully. |
| The students who passed out from this college are working in reputed public sectors, Government and Non-government Organisations, including some leading Multinational Companies dealing with software. Many of them have gone abroad for pursuing higher studies. |
| The College imparts excellent practical knowledge along with the knowledge of theory so that students do not face any problem in competing with the students of other Colleges. |
| The Department has sufficient space, staff members and equipment as per the AICTE norms. |
| Apart from the academic activity, The Dept. also provides opportunities for self-development of the interested students through timely advice and also guidance, through ESSA, and Electronic Hobby club. |
| The Curriculum includes the emerging subjects such as Digital Communication, Digital Signal Processing, VLSI design, Computer software, and satellite Communication. |
| Other than the
basic labs, the department has one of the best PCB labs in the University.
The Dept., has other labs such has Advanced Microprocessors lab, Fiber optics lab, DSP lab, & Microwave and Radar Engg. lab. |
