SUMMR'S PHOTO ALBUM

Feel free to stop the loading process and go on to another page. Some of these pictures were given to me by my sister after my mother passed away. Some of these pictures were obtained on one of my last visits to my mother before she lost her battle with cancer. They mean a great deal to me for two reasons: One, they replaced photos I lost years ago in a fire; two, as we went through her photos and she gave them to me, my mother and I were able to talk about what I remembered at each age in my life. We were both able to clear some things that had come between us through the years and to see each other as two women with different stories, but the same feelings. I will always treasure the moments we shared as we discovered aspects of each other we never took the time, or effort, to uncover before. For the first time, we not only understood each other, but could say "I'm proud of you."
