WWWCentaur Board Posting # xxxx

The following posting was made on June 3, 1998.

OVERVIEW:

Things have finally settled down to a more-or-less normal routine around here. Part of that routine involves the weekend medical exam. The E-team insisted that I go through a full exam so they could verify that nothing had changed much.

Personally I think that they were bored. The rest of the family had taken Tanya to a horse show so she wasn't available. As the homebody centaur on the scene, I got a lot of 'hints' that I needed to update my medical history.

The fact that Joe and Marie were not available for scanning by the E-team also helped. I'm quite encouraged by their latest posting and by the E-team research that indicated Marie's terminal cancer was fading. I'm hoping that improved health will encourage them to be more active.

ITEM ONE: Pelvic changes--Bone (See Item Eight)

ITEM TWO: Pelvic changes--Soft Organs (See Item Eight)

ITEM THREE: Pelvic changes--Were-spheres

No change in me. But Tanya is developing them. We're trying to convince her to release the information for posting. She is reluctant to bet involved with 'computer nerd stuff.'

'George' continues his computer simulations and detailed number crunching. Unfortunately, he claims that new data from Tanya, Joe and Marie put his prize theories in jeopardy.

ITEM FOUR: Lactation

No change. Tanya has convinced me that I should go topless during the day so I would be used to the 'clothing' style when my milk delivery system arrives. She doesn't use those terms though.

Of course I didn't need much convincing. As a male I often went topless on warm days when things got too hot.

ITEM FIVE: Cumulative Changes (See Items Eight or Nine)

ITEM SIX: Mental/Physical Health

The Mountain Man extended weekend showed me that I was in excellent physical condition. When we got back, 'Arnold' checked my equine body for any signs of stress or overwork. Ignoring scrapes, I looked like the extended exercise was something I did every weekend.

The body, 'Arnold' claims, is much too well developed to be that of a foal. Furthermore, if it were the age equivalent, I should be gaining a lot more weight. And to top it off he suggested that I exercise more to make sure that I maintain muscle tone and keep from getting fat.

Tanya has been pushing for me to play with the ponies more often. To emphasize her point, she's been setting posts for a high walled training arena. My wife and kids are helping her with the project because they have wanted a high walled training arena for years but haven't had the time to build it. (High walled training arenas, like those made out of old tires, allow the trainer to remove distractions that could spook the horse.)

My mental health is variable. Since the physical changes appear to have stopped, I'm not longer having to deal with physical disruptions of my daily routine. Better yet, I actually have gotten back into a routine daily routine.

The one rough spot is Tanya. While we're getting her to open up, she is getting me to seriously think about myself. Some of the questions she asks have a solid background in her childhood. Other questions tell me that she is far too 'adult' for my tastes.

Man or woman? Centaur or human? Heterosexual, bisexual or homosexual?

She tends to see things in black and white. Experience has shown me that the universe is a spectrum of gray. But I'm having to think about my opinions and where they fit on the spectrum.

ITEM SEVEN: Cravings

I've almost weaned myself from the mare's milk formula. Except as a topping for Misty's Centaur Sundae, I no longer use the stuff. And I'm down to one sundae a week. (Usually on a Wednesday)

I've also cut back on equine vitamins. The cravings for the extra vitamins and minerals are gone. At the same time I've developed a taste for them. It is a big change from when I would gag at the mere smell of them.

One of the side effects of the Mountain Man Weekend was the discovery that I liked grazing. My wife now stops to pick fresh grass on the way home from work. (Not the kind you smoke. I value my mind and have never used the stuff. (Besides, my imagination creates mental images way beyond what stoners and boozers can ever come up with.))

ITEM EIGHT: Equine Body

Still foalish but with good muscle tone and body fat. You now have to feel my ribs to count them. (But it tickles!)

Measurements 'Arnold' has been taking have stabilized over the last two weeks. They had been 'normal' for a foal my size. There is some discussion that the Mountain Man Weekend did something to disrupt the trends.

ITEM NINE: Human Body

I no longer look anorexic. But I'm not overweight. Yet. My diet, such as it is, is being watched very carefully. Given the state of my digestive system, namely equine, I don't do well on fast food, chips and other goodies like that.

Ignoring the ears and mane, I look like a pre-adolescent. While I've been leaning toward the feminine side, I can look like a long haired boy by wearing the proper clothing and accessories.

Not that it would do any good for personal contact. The ears are hard to hide and the equine body is a little bit unusual.

ITEM TEN: Dance

The slave drivers have been cracking their whips and changing the Jazz Fantasia choreography. All four experts, myself and the others, have been trying to come up with the perfect balance of jazz and Fantasia.

To do a better job, the dancer (myself again) has been forced to watch and rewatch video tapes of her dancing, interspersed with the centaur scene from Fantasia. She does this during the day in the cubicle (i.e. stall) next to her office. Lately her co-workers Tanya, Pearl and Anemone, have been watching the videotapes with her.

Tanya has been respectfully quiet and has asked questions about the dancing and the music.

Pearl and Anemone pay attention to the Fantasia sequence but ignore the dancing. They act like a couple of kids when it comes to the animation. But they turn away and put their heads together during the live dancing.

One of these days we are going to have to test their intelligence.

ITEM ELEVEN: Centaur Appropriate Clothing

There is too much to report at this time. I'm trying to get somebody else to deal with this topic.

From my point of view, Tanya had been a wonderful addition to the household. Despite her attitudes about clothing and horses, she likes dressing up. On some evenings she disappears in the house with my wife and daughters to work on centaur and semi-centaur appropriate clothing.

I think that covers the hot topics. If there are any comments/questions, holler.
