WWWCentaur Board Posting # xxxx
The following posting was made on May 13, 1998.
OVERVIEW:
From a medical viewpoint not much is happening to me. This has given the E-team time to prepare for contact with Tanya. If all goes well, we'll be in touch with her in about two weeks. I think that both sides are starting to trust each other.
E-team members met with Joe and Marie this weekend to check on their health and tell their great grand daughter what to expect. The weekend before they had to keep the 'briefing' short because they needed to get back to work the next morning. Clarissa got back from her convention a lot later than expected. Joe told the E-team that Clarissa had figured that something drastic was going to happen while she was gone. But she left her great grand parents quietly so they could do what they wanted to do without guilt.
ITEM ONE: Pelvic changes--Bone (See Item Eight)
ITEM TWO: Pelvic changes--Soft Organs (See Item Eight)
ITEM THREE: Pelvic changes--Were-Spheres
George is still working on his correlations. Even Misty of Varna, the lost little filly, can't get anything out of him any more.
I think that he is holding out for the biopsies.
ITEM FOUR: Lactation
No change.
ITEM FIVE: Cumulative changes (See Items Eight or Nine)
ITEM SIX: Mental/Physical Health
I'm in the best of physical health. 'Arnold,' my veterinarian, is still amazed by my coordination and stamina. For that matter, I'm amazed by the moves I've been making for the Jazz Fantasia dance I've been working on. I wasn't this coordinated when I had two feet. I would have thought that four hooves and a foalish body would have fouled things up.
I continue to gain weight so my torso and equine body look better. It won't be long before you have to look for the ribs.
Mentally, the lack of changes has been a relief. I'm about to finish off the current project for work. Luckily the people on the other end slipped up on their schedule too, so everybody is equally late. The lower stress level makes it easier for me to pre-edit my e-mail and eliminate centaur specific terms without the grammar checker. I have also had to start using gender neutral terms when referring to myself, since they think I'm still male.
ITEM SEVEN: Cravings
Alfalfa hay and oats with a sprinkling of equine vitamins and mare's milk formula comprise most of my diet. I can finish my meal off with chocolate and other sweets as long as I don't over do it.
I wish my digestive system wasn't so delicate. I've been wanting a Coke for weeks, but can't stomach it.
ITEM EIGHT: Equine Body
Not much change. I look a little underweight.
ITEM NINE: Human Body
Not much change. I look a little underweight.
ITEM TEN?: Dancing and Centaur Appropriate Clothing
Should this be a topic under the medical update?
Bye for now,
Ms. Dee
