Your task is to produce over the next few hours, a page similar to the one shown in figure 7.
Step 1 Open MS Publisher (refer to page 1) Step 2 Select Blank Page and choose Full Page (refer to page 2) Step 3 Draw in a number of guide lines. Decide for yourself where you are going to put them. (Refer to page 3) |

Step 4 Choose the Text Box (page 5 fig.4)
Step 5 Click and drag the frame over the page. Place it where you think will be closer to the finished product.
Step 6 Refer to page 8 on how to insert text. Import the text from your folder. This would be any previously saved text. You may wish to import the ready typed text: A brief history of Malta
Step 7 When Publisher asks you to connect the frame, choose NO so you will connect the frame yourself.
Step 8 Insert another Text Frame. Click and drag the frame over the page. Place it where you think will be closer to the finished product.
Step 9 Go to the first frame. Click it once and then select the connect button. (Refer to page 8) Move to the new frame and "Spill" the jug into it.
Step 10 Click the Clipart button on the tool box (refer to page 5)
Step 11 Click and drag over the text to leave a space for the National Flag.
Step 12 Follow the note on page 9 Click here to get a picture of the Maltese Flag
At this point the Maltese Flag will take up more space than in the finished product. We will see how to wrap text around the flag later on.
You can use the resizing handles to correct any frames.
The main title Malta, is made up of two WordArt (WA) features. Create WA for the "M" and another WA for the "alta" part.
Step 13 Select the appropriate button to get to WordArt (refer to page 5).
Step 14 Insert another text frame for the National Anthem.
