Setting up a New Page
To insert text you must first create a 'box' to hold the text in. Once you have this box you can start typing inside it. Better still you can import text from a Word Processor into the box.

After selecting the Text Box, you move to the required location then click and drag over the page. 1.You can use the guide lines to position the frame on your page. 2.Select Insert from the menu bar and choose Text file. 3.As usual you should look for the required file from this dialogue box.

After choosing the file, Publisher will ask you if you want to automatically add text frames and fill the frames. You can either let Publisher do the work for you, in which case you select YES or insert more Text Frames yourself in which case you choose NO. |
If you choose NO, Publisher will wait for you to insert a new text frame and to connect the frames together.

| A. One frame waiting to be connected... | B. A new frame is inserted. | C. As soon as you click on the first frame, on the connect frame button, a JUGful of letters appears. When you click on the new text frame the jug will empty its contents into the new frame. |
Apart from importing text from a Word processor, you can start typing immediately into the frame.
