IRC COMMANDS 

HERE ARE SOME IRC COMMANDS THAT MOST IRC CLIENTS WILL  RECOGNIZE  

• /LIST lists channels, number of users, and topics.
• /JOIN (plus channel name) opens the channel 
• /NAMES (plus channel name) lists users on that channel
• /NICK (plus your new nick) changes your current nickname
• /QUIT (plus a message) exits your irc session
• /HELP prints help on the given command
• /WHOIS (plus a nickname) displays information about the person behind the nickname
• /AWAY (plus a message) leaves a message saying you have lest your screen for some reason
• /MSG (plus nickname, plus message) sends a private message to the nickname you chose
• /TOPIC (plus a new topic) changes the topic of a channel
• /ME (plus a message) sends a message to the channel that tells what you are doing
• /LINKS displays all avaliable links on the undernet
