William Li & Associates Tutoring Services offers
one-to-one tutoring of Ontario high-school mathematics and
science courses. The tutoring takes place at the Central
Library in Mississauga, which is located at 301 Burnhamthorpe Road. Students will usually come in for
one-hour sessions to review concepts, learn new material,
and solve problems. Students of Gordon Graydon
Memorial Secondary School enrolled in either the regular and
International, Business, and Technology (IBT) Program
could benefit especially from tutoring services. As a
successful graduate of the IBT Program at Gordon Graydon,
William is well-positioned to teach both concepts as well
as strategies for student success.
William Li & Associates Tutoring Services also offers
summer tutoring in International Baccalaureate
courses. These courses are offered by successful graduates
of the IB program. Please contact
William Li for more information.
If students are taking summer school courses, their
tutor will work with them on any questions that they have;
if they are not in summer school, their tutor will teach
or review concepts.

Summer School Students: We recommend signing up
for 12 one-hour sessions. These sessions will be led by
you: you can ask your tutor to solve problems, explain
concepts, or give you quizzes. Times are flexible, but if
you are taking a four-week summer-school course, it is
suggested that you see your tutor three times a week.
Students Reviewing Last Year's Material: We
recommend 12 or 16 one-hour sessions to thoroughly
explore and understand concepts. You can also select fewer
or more hours depending on your needs.
Students Learning New Courses: By learning a new
course without taking it in summer school, you avoid the
risk of needing to repeat it if you are unsatisfied with
your achievement. This can have negative ramifications on
post-secondary opportunities. Thus, you can be better
prepared the first time you take the course. Should you
decide to learn a new course without going to summer
school, the number of sessions you select depends on your
willingness to learn new concepts and your academic
ability. With tutoring and independent study, it is
possible to gain an overview of all concepts within 15
hours of instruction; you may choose to register for more
one-hour sessions or to commit to learning only part of
the course. For rates and other information,
