WUSA All-World Match
Generally when you think of your All Star type games you don't think of high intensity, but that can't be said of the WUSA All World match held on February 10th.  When all was said and done there was seven goals, two yellow cards, a red card, two injuries, and a shoving match.

Homare Sawa put the South ahead in the twenith minuet after she buried a rebound off the post past North keeper LaKeysia Beene.  The opprotunity started when Shannon MacMillan went down the right side of the field and crossed the ball into the box.  Charmaine Hooper recieved the ball and pulled away from her defender  rifleing a shot off the post, which Sawa put in the net.

Hooper paded the South lead when she put an eight yard in the net three minutes later.  That led was cut by one when the North's Tiffeny Milbrett converted on a pentalty kick after Katia was fouled innside the eighteen yard box.  CindyParlow made it 3-1in the 47th minuet, but Kristy Whelchel added another for the North just a minute later.

The South's Shannon MacMillan scored the last goal for her team in the game.  The goal ultimetly ended up being the game winner as Mandy Clemens gave the North one more goal in the eighty-ninth.

On the injury front Brandi Chastain had to leave the match in only the twenty first minuet after she sustained a slight knee injury.  Over ten minuets later US National teammates Sara Whalen and Shannon MacMillan collided, and Whalen had to be taken off the field by strecher.  Reports indicated she had sustained a rib injury.

Charmaine Hooper recieved a red card in the game and Tiffeny Milbrett and Sharlota Nonen got into a shoving match, in a game that was unlike any other All Star match ever witnessed.
