Melodic Black/Death Metal from Sweden, VINTERLAND are often compared to this band although this is not completely correct in my opinion.

Melodic Black Metal from Sweden, some of their older songs create a melancholic atmosphere that is similar to the atmosphere on VINTERLAND's album.

Norwegian Black Metal pioneers who were the first band in this genre to use keyboards as an important element of their songs and claimed to play "Sophisticated Black Metal".
