Morphology


Morphology is the study of morphemes.
  • Morphemes
    A sound or combinations of sounds with meaning.
  • Prefix/Suffix/Root Meanings
    A prefix is an affix added to the beginning of the word to change its meaning or its class. A suffix is an affix added to the end of a form-class word to change its class with derivational suffixes or to change its grammatical function with inflectional suffixes.
  • Phonemes
    Phonemes or the phonemic alphabet is a system of writing in which there is one symbol for every significant sound of the language.
