Rules & Regulations
[As previously mentioned, these are fairly simple rules to follow, so don't get mad at me if you have any trouble] Hall Ball is a game. This game could be considered a mixture of soccer and a hallway. The rules are rather similar to those of soccer, which is why it could be considered a mixture of soccer and a hallway. It is played in a hallway. Hence the name, Hall Ball. Here are the Rules & Regulations for Hall Ball gameplay:
Goalkeeper

only one goalkeeper per team

only player allowed to catch the ball

cannot throw the ball; unless it is a simple toss to a teammate

PLAYER rules #1, 5, & 6 apply to goalkeeper
Players

can kick the ball freely

NOT allowed to catch the ball; unless the following occurs: a) it is flying at a certain spot on your body that you don't really want to be hit, then you must drop it immediately afterwards, b) someone calls a "momentary pause"

only allowed to touch ball with hands if it is following a course that is above your chest

NOT allowed to smack, slap, tip, or in any way deliberately alter the course of the ball with your hand

NOT allowed to purposely physically abuse opposing team members

NOT allowed to cross into the opposing team's playing area
Neutral Zone

members from both teams are allowed admittance into this designated zone

zone must be in the middle of the playing area (hallway)

cannot be closer to, or farther away from a team's goal
Free Kick

given when the following occurs: a) a player is obviously and intentionally fouled, b) the goalkeeper throws the ball
-
players on both teams must be behind and away from the person attempting the free kick
- players are NOT allowed to interfere with the free kick
