Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
To every thing there is a season,
and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant,
and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones,
and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace,
and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate;
A time of war, and a time of peace.

JES' LAUGHIN'

It's curious what a sight o' good
A little thing will do,
How you can stop the fiercest storm
When it begins to brew
An' take the sting from whut commenced
To rankle when 'twas spoke,
By keepin' still an' treatin' it
As if it wus a joke.
Ye'll find that we can fill a place
With smiles instead o' tears,
An' keep the sunshine gleamin' through
The shadows of the years
````````By jes' laughin'.
Folks sometimes fail to note
The possibilities that lie
In the way yer mouth is curvin'
An' the twinkle in yer eye;
It ain't so much whut's said that hurts,
It's whut ye think lies hid;
It ain't so much the doin',
It's the way the thing is did.
An' many a home's kept happy
An' contented day by day,
An' like as not a kingdom
Has been rescued from decay
````````By jes' laughin'.

CHOICE OF VOWS

WHEN THE PREACHER GOT TO THE POINT OF SAYING,
"WILL YOU TAKE THIS WOMAN FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE,
IN SICKNESS AND IN HEALTH, FOR RICHER OR FOR POORER?",
THE GROOM DECIDED IT WAS MULTIPLE CHOICE AND
ANSWERED, "I'LL TAKE BETTER, HEALTHY AND RICHER!"

A LAW OF LIFE

The other day a boy refused to obey his mother.
Angrily he ran to a ravine and cried, "I hate you!"
Suddenly the words came echoing back, "I hate you."
Frightened, he ran to his mother and said, "There's a
bad man in the woods. I heard him say, "I hate you."

Knowing what had happened she said, "Go back and say,
"I love you." He called out, "I love you". And the
same words came back to him. "Son," she said, "This is
a law of life, what you give, you get. What you say, you
hear." The Bible says, "Be not deceived. God is not mocked.
Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
~~~~~~~~~Galatians 6:7
