This gallery is set up as a sort of panoramic, as if you were to walk around the room.
The third floor office/exercise/entertainment/sunbathing/websurfing/relaxing/etc.
room is accessed from a central staircase that allows guests to bypass all of the
bedrooms.
The sofa can also serve as an extra bed as the arm rest top lifts off and one of the
two back cushions fits into the box to extend the sleeping area.
The two mini fridges can hold beverages, food, white wine bottles and there are
frosted mugs in the freezer. There are two wall mounted wine racks for your
red, the cabinets are stocked with glasses, china and cultlery and there is
room remaining for snacks. The filing cabinet is a two drawer pull out loaded
with legal size hanging folders.
There is a workout bench with a free weight set including barbell and dumbells so
you can conveniently take a break and tone your muscles.
The big black things with red tags are high end bean bag chair and foot stool
combinations. Children aren't the only ones who will love these, they are
big and are great for watching movies or playing X Box games. For more
information on these visit www.sumolounge.com.
The office contains two reclining swivel office chairs, fax machine, laser printer,
telephone, UPS, two desk lamps, a 15" colour monitor, a 17" flat screen colour
monitor, two pairs of multimedia speakers, one keyboard and mouse and one pull
out keyboard shelf.
The office and entertainment centre are networked and internet enabled as is the rest
of the house. There is a 10/100 ethernet switch located under the desk with ethernet
cables run to each office workspace and a third ethernet cable jacked into the X Box,
for you X Box live enthusiasts. There is also room for expansion.
The entertainment centre includes a Panasonic Tau 32" HDTV, Philips 5.1 Surround
Sound Home Theatre System (HTS), Motorola Star Choice Satelite Reciever, X Box
Game System, VCR and a pair of headphones so you can still have it loud even
when others might not. The HTS provides sound from DVD movies, music CD's, X Box,
satellite TV, basic cable TV, FM radio, AM radio and whatever else you jack into
the TV.
The reversable ceiling fan/light combination provides additional cooling and heating
capabilities to the space. This appliance is also operated by remote control so you
can stay stationary and manipulate your environment.
If you have work to do you might need to close the blinds on a sunny day. The sight of
the sun through the glass might suck you right through that door. It's so close, it's
too easy.
The 3rd floor roof terrace provides another alternative for outdoor living. This terrace
is in the sun all day long and there are 300 sq.ft. to spread out and enjoy.
